Anti Ragging

Overview

Sri Sai Institute of Technology and Science has a zero tolerance approach towards ragging. Ragging in any form is absolutely banned in the institution and hostels. The institution follows the Supreme Court Directives and Punjab Government Ordinance for Ragging. Any one indulging in ragging is liable to be punished appropriately, including expulsion from the college and/or imprisonment up to 3 years, and/ or fine up to Rs. 25,000/- or both.

Committee and Its Objectives

To prevent Ragging inside and outside the campus of this college, an “ANTI RAGGING SQUAD” is constituted for various locations at SSITS. So, the staff members allotted to the respective locations will be monitoring both inside and out side of the campus, ensuring the safety of the students.
