Training and Placement Cell

The Sri Sai Institute of Technology and Science (SSITS), Andhra Pradesh, has been devoted to the holistic development of its students since its inception. Guided by its core philosophy of “student empowerment, industry collaboration, and continuous skill development,” SSITS delivers a comprehensive education in science and technology through its innovative and flexible fractal curriculum.

To ensure the 360-degree growth and professional readiness of every student, the institute has established a dedicated Training and Placement (T&P) Cell. This cell plays a pivotal role in providing career guidance, professional counselling, and industry exposure, while facilitating exceptional internship and placement opportunities.

SSITS actively seeks partnerships with global industries and academic institutions to foster collaboration and contribute meaningfully to society.

The Training and Placement Cell is deeply committed to ensuring the successful placement and career advancement of its students. It offers expert advice on career choices, keeps students informed about the latest employment trends and training opportunities, and acts as a vital bridge between students and prospective employers. By offering a dynamic platform for productive engagement, the T&P Cell serves the interests of both — helping students achieve their aspirations while meeting the talent needs of the industry.

1. T&P Cell Registration

  • Students aspiring to participate in campus recruitment must register with the Training and Placement (T&P) Cell before the notified deadline.

  • Late registrationswill not be accepted under any circumstances.
  • Students with up to five (5) active backlogs by the end of the fifth semester are eligible to register.

2. Pre-Placement Training

The T&P Cell organizes comprehensive pre-placement training programs for all registered candidates. These programs aim to enhance employability skills and include:

  • Technical training sessions and hackathons.

  • Aptitude and coding assessments through online platforms.
  • Mock interviews and resume-building workshops.
  • Mentorship and guidance sessions conducted by industry professionals.

3. Campus Recruitment Drives

  • All students registered with the T&P Cell are eligible to participate in campus recruitment drives.

  • Once a company issues a job notification, interested students must register separately for each drive.
  • Only those who have registered for a specific drive will be permitted to participate in the selection process.

4. Dream Offer Policy

  • Each student is eligible to secure one job offer in the initial phase.

  • A student may apply for a “Dream Offer” if the organization offers a salary package that is 50% (1.5x) higher than the first offer, provided the first offer is ?10 LPA or below.
  • Students are permitted to secure multiple offers if the packages are ?10 LPA or above.

Placement Process

  • The T&P Cell sends formal invitations to companies along with relevant institute and program details.

  • Interested organizations respond to confirm participation in the recruitment process.

2. Student Registration

  • Upon receipt of the company’s Job Description (JD) and eligibility criteria, the T&P Cell circulates this information to all registered students.

  • Interested and eligible students must register for participation, after which a consolidated student database is shared with the recruiters.

3. Pre-Placement Talk (PPT)

  • Companies may conduct Pre-Placement Talks, either online or offline.

  • The PPT serves as an interactive platform for companies to present their profile, job roles, and career prospects, while students gain clarity on expectations and selection processes.

4. Recruitment Process

  • Companies may conduct aptitude tests, technical assessments, group discussions, and personal interviews based on their internal recruitment policy.

  • The institute supports hybrid recruitment modes—both in-person and online—as per recruiter convenience.

5. Job Offer and Acceptance

  • After the final interview, the company extends an offer of employment to the selected candidates.

  • The offer letter should clearly specify the job role, compensation package, location, and terms of employment.
  • Upon receipt of the provisional offer, students are required to formally accept it through the T&P Cell.
